- Basically, we offer all services which come under "psychology" in German, French and English speaking countries. We have the requisite language skills and intercultural competence. In addition, we have native speakers at hand in our network to support us.
- Our expertise in intercultural activities is primarily focused on people working together in German- and French-speaking environments. In contrast to other providers, we do not see ourselves as a training centre. Our core tasks lie in accompanying processes, coaching and analysing the conflict potential inherent in organisational policies.
- Our special areas of expertise:
The simulation of typical situations arising in a working environment in which different approaches embedded in different cultures can have a negative effect on group dynamic-related processes in unusual situations; in these situations, virtually identical effects can be observed and can create synergies which lead to a significant improvement in the desired outcome.
- We consciously avoid mind-sets determined by prejudices, stereotypes and clichés. Despite a certain enculturization in his/her native country, the individual is also influenced by his/her own individual experiences. Not all Germans are punctual, and not all French have a more generous sense of time, to cite a simple example.
- In addition, cultural influences are manifold and varied. Along with different geographical regions and religious beliefs, each company has its own corporate culture and, particularly in a large company, there may be differences in culture between departments. In essence, we therefore believe that our work on intercultural issues is a more specific and complex form of our psychological work with people who are facing intercultural conflict.
- Our motivation for working in an intercultural context is embedded in our social and political beliefs. We view the interrelationship of phenomena at a business level which transcends the barriers of language and culture as the most promising method for enabling and promoting harmonious coexistence.
- Beyond our regular business activities, we also plan – with a view to the above – unusual measures, such as the targeted development of high potential female trainee managers in Arab countries, or the support in organizational and psychological terms of projects between German and the countries of the Arab Maghreb Union.
